Before Your First Laser Hair Removal Treatment
Prior to your treatment you will have a consultation where you are assessed for your suitability to proceed and all your questions are answered. In keeping with the Care Quality Commission guide lines, we are obliged to carry out a patch test prior to your first treatment.
During Laser Hair Removal Treatment
Your Laser hair removal treatment will be carried out by a fully qualified laser hair removal specialist who is highly experienced in carrying out laser hair removal treatments.
As the laser which emits an intense pulse of light is passed over the area being treated, the light destroys the hair follicles, reducing further growth and leaving a silky smooth feel even on sensitive skin. It is not painful, and the sensation is often described as similar to an elastic band being flicked against the skin. Laser hair removal treatments take from ten minutes to approximately forty minutes, depending on the area being treated.
After Your First Laser Hair Removal Treatment
The long term benefits of multiple laser hair removal treatments are accumulative and can be remarkable. There is very little if any recovery time. The patient can have some possible redness following treatment and should avoid heat treatments, direct sun exposure, and saunas for the first day post treatment.
It is necessary to have a course of treatments to achieve the desired end result. How many depends on the area being treated. Please note that a full consultation will be provided free of charge. In keeping with the Care Quality Commission guide lines, we are obliged to carry out a patch test prior to your first treatment at a cost of £25.00. All Payments are due on the day of treatment and can be made by cash, cheque or credit card. All package prices must be paid in full and are non-refundable. Considerable preperation is involved for IPL treatments. Therefore if you are unable to attend your appointment we require 48hrs notice in order to re-assign your appointment to another client. Failure to give notice will result in a charge of £50. In the event of non attendence, the full fee will be charged. |
